THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THOUGHTS AND SELF-CONFIDENCE

I am sure, you, me, and we've all received advice that asks us to behave and act with confidence, for example when they want to take an exam, talking in front of many people, or do anything else very great importance to us. Indeed, confidence is believed to have much influence in various aspects of our lives. People who have confidence has a different
quality of life with others who has not confidence.

I remember one story that tells of a blind girl. One day, he met a magician who then try to play magic. Miraculously, because she could guess the card provided by the magician. Why did this happen? Apparently, the secret is in the ingenuity of the magician. By using some tricks and the tricks, the magician managed to unleash the potential of the girl to play tricks with him. Without a doubt, the magician invites the girl to play in front of the girl's family. Confidence is so high that the magician has been transmitted to the blind girl. And since then, the girl felt had become a star in his home. This happens only because someone gave him a chance to shine for a moment and feel special in front of his family.

The story above illustrates how important confidence. The formerly blind girl feel insecure, inferior, and become a burden in his family, thanks to his success in the game thanks to the magic-trick of the magician-well, his confidence grew, even he felt aligned with other family members.

Attitudes are not confident that once possessed by the blind girl it's very likely could happen to us. Attitudes appear insecure due to the habits we develop attitudes and negative opinions about ourselves. Perhaps also, the attitude of no confidence comes as a result of our environment, such as environmental attitudes that make us afraid to try, afraid of making mistakes, or they shall be as prescribed.

Another example is the life story of Oprah, the most famous presenter in the United States today. With a budget of courage "being yourself", Oprah became the richest female celebrity in the United States according to Forbes magazine with a fortune of more than U.S. $ 1 billion. Successful women are not necessarily obtain success for granted, but through a long process and hard. Oprah was born in Mississippi of African-American couple named Oprah Gail Winfrey. His father was a former soldier who later became a barber, while his mother a maid. Since his parents separated, then a small Oprah was raised by his grandmother who lives in a slum neighborhood and very poor.

At the age of 9 years, Oprah was sexually abused. She was raped by a cousin of her mother and her friends and occur repeatedly. At the age of 13 years, Oprah has to accept the fact she was pregnant. However, the baby died two weeks after birth. After the incident, Oprah moved to her father's house in Nashville. There, she educates her father with a very hard and disciplined. He was required to read the book and make a summary of each week. Although very depressed, but later realized that this is what makes it tough upbringing as a strong woman, confident, and highly disciplined.

Oprah began her career as a local radio announcer while in high school. His career in the television world he pioneered at the age of 19 years and he became the first Negro woman and the youngest as a local television station news reader. Oprah's talk show debuted in the TV show People Are Talking. And, his decision to move to Chicago eventually brought him to the peak of his career. The Oprah Winfrey Show became a talk show with the highest national rating ever in the history of television in America.

It was great! Background of poor, crime-prone, and discriminatory harass her for trying to help others. Impressions show on television is always laden with human values, morality, and education. He realized that if he could invite all the television viewers, it will be easy to fulfill all their dreams to help those who are oppressed. Oprah is known for its generosity. Various foundations he has donated, such as hospitals and research institutes with AIDS, schools, people with addiction, people with disabilities, and other foundations.

Oprah Winfrey's story is the story of a young man who did not want to bemoan the fate. He fought hard for the success of his life. He is not inferior to the background of the bleak life. He tried to believe in yourself and be yourself. He tried to eliminate negative thoughts from his mind and he finally succeeded. Oprah has the mental steel and able to change fate, from sorrow to be a successful human life that has character. Emulate the spirit of struggle we deserve.
